“Bright Days in the Park” is a vivid, joy filled tribute to Roma Street Parklands, a place that has woven itself through many chapters of my life. The park opened just before I began studying landscape architecture at QUT, and it quickly became part of my learning. I sketched it countless times, captivated by its bold design story and the layers of landscape thinking behind it. Later, I worked for Mark Fuller, one of the key designers of the park, which gave the place an even deeper resonance.
