“Articulate” is about making internal understanding visible. Drawing on my background as a landscape architect, this work reflects the way I read land, space and structure and translate that knowledge into a visual language. It speaks to clarity, not as something rigid or technical, but as something felt and instinctive.
The forms and marks in this piece are deliberate yet expressive, suggesting an effort to communicate what is often understood without words. Like speaking fluently in a language learned through experience, the work represents a moment where observation, knowledge and intuition align.
“Articulate” sits between analysis and expression. It acknowledges the systems and frameworks used to understand landscape, while allowing emotion and interpretation to lead. The work is less about depicting a place and more about expressing a way of seeing clearly, confidently and with intent.
